Statement
The mission of Willowbrook Hospice is to
provide physical, emotional/social and spiritual support to terminally ill
patients as well as their families and loved ones while enabling them to
live with dignity and comfort as they cope with issues during and after
the final stages of life.
Philosophy
Hospice affirms life. Hospice exists to provide
comprehensive support and palliative care for persons in the final phases
of life so they might live as fully and comfortably as possible. Hospice
recognizes dying as a normal process. Hospice neither hastens nor
postpones death. Hospice believes that through personalized services and a
caring community, patients and families can attain a degree of mental and
spiritual preparation for death.
